Santa at the Dastrups

OK, so in Steve's family there is a tradition of going to Jeanette's mom & dad's home for Christmas Eve. Well in the past couple of years Steve brothers and their families have grown a lot. So instead we all go to Jeanette and Cliff's house on Christmas Eve. So the rest of the Dastrups still wanted to do something with us, so we started the Dastrup Annual Christmas Dinner on the first Sunday in December, so our first one was yesterday. It was fun to see all the family, eat yummy food (thanks Allison), and meet and talk with Santa!!! So here are a few pictures I took (I will have to get the other pictures from Allison) and tons of video of the kids with Santa. So because the videos are very long, I didn't post them, it was taking way to long to upload them (so if anyone wants them, just let me know and I will email them to you). But the funny parts of the video were Benny asking Santa if he had a batman in his bag, or a phone in his sleigh, and wanting to know if he could call him on it. Byron got to sit in Santa's lap and sing Jingle Bells while holding the actual bells that make the reindeer fly(And santa calling him Mary). And the expressions on Emily's face as she heard Santa tell stories were awesome (she kept gasping)!!! It was also funny to watch Steve sit on Santa's lap because Tyson wouldn't sit by himself. So thanks Santa for remembering the Dastrups at Christmas time and coming to visit us. It also helped my kids believe in Santa again...so thanks!
