(This is Grandma Jensen laughing at Byron's wig from this past Halloween)So we just found out this morning that Steve's Grandma Jensen passed away last night. She was a wonderful woman who cared a lot about family, family history, and teaching the younger generations these concepts. She loved to give Christmas & Birthday gifts to all of her kids, grand kids, and great grand kids. Even when she got to where she couldn't see very well she would still try and bring something over every birthday or Christmas for our kids. It was always fun to see what she had found. Her presents always brought a smile to our face and made us laugh. Whether it was the pink shirt for Steve or the millions of shirts for me, or the pink bed sheets for Emily, or the awesome towels for all of our kids, or even the sets of Corelware from DI for our weddings. She was always giving to others and thinking of others. Whenever we would stop by their house they would always find stuff to give to our kids...she always had a stash of toys in the back room that she had found on clearance. She loved to take pictures...even after she couldn't see through the lens, and would always make me pose for all my pregnancies so that she could see what I look like with each pregnancy, and then she would come over when the babies were home and take pictures of them... she loved kids. She always loved to tell stories of family members or friends even if we had no clue who they were, she made them sound like the greatest people in the world. She loved to see the kids on Halloween all dressed up and loved to have trinkets all over her house. She was a very caring, loving, giving woman who loved her family very much. We will miss you Grandma Jensen and your great example of service!
