New calling

So Steve and I have a new calling together....We are the Pioneer Trek Leaders(formerly known as the wagon masters).  We are so excited to be able to go to trek next summer and serve together again like we have back in 2004 and 2008.  Some of the best moments we have had together is at Pioneer Trek.  There is something special that happens there and miracles occur, testimonies are formed, and lives are changed forever.  I have a dear place in my heart for these handcart pioneers and what they went through and their amazing testimonies, they are my heroes.  I am overwhelmed and humbled at the same time to have this calling, because we are following some amazing people who were in these positions before us, people we have always looked up to, people we call our heroes.  So here's to the beginning of an amazing journey, and I couldn't think of anyone else I would want to be in this calling with more than my amazing hubby Steve, he is my hero and I love to watch him serve the Lord in his callings, and I get to this time working side by side with him.  I know that this calling, just like the other years when we were called as Ma's & Pa's will bring us closer together as a couple, to our savior, and will bless the lives of our children more than we can ever think it would....
