OK, so sorry I haven't commented on a lot of your blogs lately, I have been crazy busy...and I am not even sure with what...but all I know is that I have no time to just relax and read blogs (which I love doing!!!!).
So anyways a few things that have happened...

Labor Day weekend, we went camping at the Maple dell Lodge. Which was a nice relaxing time and a lot of fun. It hailed and rained on us, and got down into the 40's and 50's...so I was glad we were in the lodge and not our tent. But it was a blast to be with family (it's Steve's mom's side family reunion), and to be joined by our good friends the Kelly's. And Benjamin even caught a fish, even if he ran away after reeling it in. And you have to check out Tyson' awesome dance moves.
Byron started football... and lets just say he tries really hard...well most of the time. He loves playing and we love watching him, so that is what is most important. In the video he is the one with the ball, and hopefully you can kind of pick him out of the pictures (they are the green team)...he is one of three Caucasians kids on the team (the rest are Polynesians, and boy can they play football!!!). As you can see by the pictures, Tyson likes to explore,
Benny runs and rolls up and down the hills, and Emily loves her music and sleep...just like her mommy! The first game Steve got to assistant coach and did a wonderful job with it!!!

So with running him to games and practices, and dealing with their incredibly long school schedule (8:45-4:35 is way to long to be gone from us...can't wait for Oct. 20 and they move into their new school and the new regular schedule!!!) we have been so busy. And now Steve is taking institute classes to try and become a Seminary Teacher here in Utah, so life just gets crazier.
Then finally today, Tyson walked across the room for the first time. I was so excited, and tried 10 times to get him to do it for the camera...and every time he would clap, take 2 steps, then laugh at me, and fall down laughing the whole way....what a smart boy he is. But finally I got him walking, I am so excited I don't have to carry him everywhere...boy is he heavy.

That lodge looked like a lot of fun. I'm glad you had shelter for the rain/hail. Yeah for Tyson! That's awesome that he started walking! I loved seeing Byron play flag football too.
Those videos were so cute! How old is Tyson? Grace is walking around furniture so I'm sure it won't be long until she's walking across room and graduating from high school. It goes by too fast. Love the new layout!
Thank you for the videos. How fun. I can't wait 'til my kids are big enough to enjoy camping and can do more for themselves. It is fun to see your cute family enjoying time together
Mindi :)
40's and 50's? AHHHHH that sounds completely wonderful. That looks like a fun place to stay!
I loved to see Tyson walking. You guys are such fun parents. Your kids are going to have so many great memories. I am sorry I haven't been good at commenting lately. I haven't read blogs in a while myself. Take care and talk to you soon!
