OK so we made a really quick last minute trip to Southern California for the kids fall break...to Oceanside, to go to the BYU game and visit family. We decided to go Wednesday night, so Thursday morning after my parents had headed back to Texas we packed up and left. The kids did awesome, and we only stopped twice to get gas and eat. 
Friday we went to the beach at Oceanside and met Kristy & Tom and their girls, and Will & Kira & Liam there. It was a blast being there for the entire afternoon and watching the kids play in the water and sand. And watching the guys become little boys out in the Ocean. Then that night everyone got together at Steve's Aunt Paulette's home and ate together. Then all the kids split up into rooms and Emily & Talila slept together, and the boys except Tyson all slept together.
Saturday we went back to another part of the beach with Tyson & Amy and their kids and watched the kids play with Steve, Tyson & Cole surf, and Steve & Byron attempt to surf. They did an awesome job even if they weren't able to stand, at least they got up on their knees. Then later that day Steve & me, Tom & Kristy, Will & Kira, and Felila & Albert & their kids went to the BYU San Diego State game...it was a lot of fun, with a lot of drunks surrounding us because we were in their fan section...but it made for lots of entertainment. And Jeanette, Cliff, Paulette, and Eldon were kind of enough to watch our kids for us and make dinner again for everyone.
Sunday we went to church with Tyson & Amy and our kids loved it. Then we laid around for a relaxing afternoon, and they had all of the family over for Sunday dinner before a fireside, which Steve and I stayed home with our kids (except Emily), Sane and Cliff and watched Night at the Museum.
Then on Monday Steve and I and the kids went to LEGOLAND! It was a blast, and was perfect for our kids because they could ride almost every ride, and Byron could ride all of them by himself or with one of his little brothers or sister. I highly recommend it for anybody with kids our kids ages, and try and find coupons because it saved us a ton of money, so thanks Amy and your awesome coupons. After spending the whole day there we went to Carls Jr with Tyson and his kids.
Then on Tuesday we packed up and headed back and only stopped twice again. I am so grateful for mp3 players, cd players, books, toys and TV's in cars it really helps the kids stay entertained and happy. And I am so grateful to Tyson & Amy and their kids for letting us crash with them for so long...you guys are awesome!!! And for Paulette & Eldon feeding us almost every night while we were there, you guys are awesome and we love all you guys!!!
