Paulette

So those of you who have known us for a while have probably met Steve's cousin Tyson and his wife Amy, and may have met Tyson's amazing mom Paulette.  Paulette has been accused of some false doings, and I am not sure of all the details, but I know that she needs our thoughts and prayers for her more than ever...along with their entire family.  So I ask that you please keep them in your prayers...and if you are interested in knowing more about this wonderful woman who we adore please check out the following website that her son has set up for her...supportpaulettethompson.org.  And if you want to know what an impact she has made on me the past 10 years here it goes....

1.)  I met Paulette at our wedding and she was amazing.  She made sure everything was taken care of for the reception, the luncheon, etc.  And made sure that Jeanette was able to relax a little and enjoy the whole expereince...and her husband was a great guard at keeping uninvited guests out of the reception (very funny story...will have to share this later).

2.)  Many times we have gone out to visit with them and they always treat us like their own...with amazing food, a great place to sleep,  great conversation and wonderful advice. She always had great things to say about her school, her kids, the other teachers/parents, and great advice to give to me about life.

4.)  In general anytime we visited she always made us feel welcome. 

5.)  Whenever she came up here, she always took time out to stop and say hi to us and give us huge hugs and smiles.  She always lights up a room when she enters.

6.)  She always tells you exactly what she thinks and seems to be in tuned with the spirit to know what to say.

7.) She has a wonderful testimony of the Savior and this gospel.

8.)  She is a wonderful mom and grandmother...and our kids loved playing at her home and felt welcome everytime.

9.)  She has raised 5 amazing kids who have influenced everyone they meet to become better people.

10.)  And finally she is an amazing woman who gives everything to everyone around her, who can make you laugh, who can make you smile, who always has the spirit with her, and most of all who loves those around her.
