Exercise
So I know how important is to exercise even when pregnant. The Dr told me in the beginning no more than 15 lbs total on this pregnancy. And I thought no problem...and then I broke my tailbone. Do you know that when you break your tailbone and are barely able to walk and it is during the holiday seasons it is so easy to gain weight and fast...so being up 10 lbs, he told me last month to slow down on the weight, which is depressing since on all of my pregnancies except Byron I have never gained over 15 lbs, in fact on the last three I have lost weight in the end. So I decided I needed to start exercising more. Just practicing with the girls on Saturday for basketball(only doing like 3 drills) wore me out. Then yesterday I had the brilliant idea to do Wii Active for 30 minutes. Can I just say squats and lunges don't work for this big pregnant woman, I was getting very frustrated with them telling me that I was not holding still long enough...well tell me if you have this big belly in front of you, would you be able to keep your balance. Or when it puts on the screen over and over again moving to slow when I am suppose to run...do you know how hard it is to run pregnant and not feel like you look completely retarded or even get your legs to move that fast...So today after waking up very sore, I have decided I will try and do their walking program and resistance with my arms and maybe this will keep me in shape and keep my weight down, and most of all keep those dreaded gestational diabetes from reoccurring this pregnancy. And just when I want to be one of those pregnant women who can eat anything they want and crave, what I would do for a giant cheeseburger, onion rings, and Peanut Butter Cup Shake from the Malt Shoppe right now...:)

I'm sorry, but you're making me laugh! I can just picture you cussing at the Wii (not saying you did, that's just what I have in my head).
A friend of mine who had GD (and is underweight and a dietician, it's weird) was advised by her doctor to take a 15 min walk after each meal to help with the insulin absorption or whatever.
I hope you can find something that works for you! I have a pregnancy pilates DVD you can try:)
I feel like it's impossible for me to slow the preggo weight gain. I gained 40 lbs this time! Walking is great and always feels good. You can do it. I'm craving the Malt Shoppe now thanks! I wish there was one where I live!
I feel bad that you hurt your tailbone! Those take a long time to heal....good luck! If it helps, you're really pretty :)
