OK So Tyson used to be our calm child...but for some reason when he turned four that all changed...and now that he is 5 it really is crazy!! He has reverted backwards potty training(none of our kids ever did this, not even his younger sister Sarah), he throws more fits then his baby sisters and he has started arguing with us...Now you might think what a bratty kid...but no here are the things that are awesome about Tyson...He can already read books and the scriptures(faster than any of our other children), he is a great dancer, he can make me laugh any time, he loves playing sports and is very dedicated on practicing them to make sure he is as good as his brothers. He loves to snuggle give huge hugs and hold my hand all the time. He is a really good cleaner and loves to mop our floors. He is great with his baby sisters. And he has an amazing testimony of the Savior and the Gospel. So even though I get frustrated he is a great kid.
This leads me to my main reason for writing this post...Friday was one of those days for him. He had wet the bed during the night and went and took a shower. After showering he was mad to find out that I had not washed his basketball shorts yet and had to wear blue jeans. HE screamed and yelled and refused to go to school, so after the others walked away and left him screaming on our lawn...I put him in the car and drove him to the school(only 2 blocks away) parked across from the playground, and told him to get out and cross with the crossing guard. He got out and said what about show and tell? I said here is a BYU ticket from the game you just went to....He started screaming that he didn't want the ticket and wanted a basketball at the house. So I told him to take a step back on the grass, he did still screaming, and I drove off around the corner and hid to where he could not see me. I watched as for a minute or so he screamed and yelled and jumped around...then the bell rang. He stopped crying walked to the crossing guard and walked to his class acting like nothing happened...The funny part comes with Byron's view of the whole thing. He was walking to school and saw some crazy kid screaming his guts out...when he thought what a brat and what kind of parent just leaves their kid like that. Then he saw our car hiding and realized it was Tyson and I was the crazy mom who left their kid like that. And he said Only my mom would be crazy enough to do something like that!" Gotta love my kids.
