So remember how we had to read the book Frankenstein in High School and watch the movie. I loved doing that...but last night I took off my bandage and unveiled my scar....It was a Frankenstein sight!!!! I looked in a mirror and cried to Steve and said I am ugly now. And the sweet man that he is he just hugged me and said I looked beautiful and that it would fade away.
Then the weird man that he is wanted to touch the scar and the stich knot. He is funny!
Today I found out my results. The right thyroid had a nodule they were concerned about...turns out my own body's immune system was attacking it...could explain why I was feeling so weird. Anyways the Doc said it was pretty common. And then he said the thing that suprised them was they found a .7mm speck of cancer on the left side. This side had never showed any problems. But because they had taken it all out my cancer was cured and I would never have it come back again!!!!!!!! So that was awesome news!!!! Boy it is amazing how the Lord will bless us in our lives if we have faith and do what He has asked us to do. My life and my family have been so blessed it amazes me! How I am grateful for the trials we have in our lives so that we can become stronger from them.

My mom leaves on Monday...that makes me super sad. She has been a great help. For those of you who don't know..my dad had a mild stroke this past weekend. He is ok, but just keep him in your prayers, his memory is going fast and we are hoping they will be able to move up here next year. This way Sharon and I can help my mom with him. They are awesome parents and I can't wait for them to be closer to us and their grandkids. It will be a major blessing in our lives and theirs.

I'm so glad that everything is okay with your thyroid. I hope that Dad is doing better. I still remember when your parents came into town and they took Ryan and I to Cracker Barrel, that was so much fun.
I am sorry to hear about your Dad. He is such a funny guy, always smiling and making others around him smile. But, I am glad to hear the your thyroid problems are over.

ps I love your new layout. Where did you get that? Or did you put that together yourself?
That is wonderful news about your thyroid. I am also sorry to here about your Dad. I hope it all works out for your parents to move up your way as planned. Although we will miss them down here in Texas.

Congratulations about being cancer free! I'm glad you don't have to have the radiation therapy stuff and be radioactive woman. That would have sucked. Anyway, let me know what I can do to help when you're feeling worn out.

Hey Girl,
I, too, am glad they got all of the cancer. However, when you look at your scar, instead of thinking about how much you hate it ('cause your hubby is right, it will fade), think about the Grace that has spared you. You are a cancer survivor, and that is AWESOME!

Adrienne...how are you? Wow, I found you through the blogging world (so weird!). Sorry to hear about your Dad. I love seeing your family. The last time I saw you was about 5 years ago when Abigail (my daughter) was born. My blog is private...but HELLO to you! I am pretty sure you still have my email address, if you do, drop me a line. Your kids are so grown :) Hope Easter was nice to you :)
Love,

I am embarrassed to say that I signed your guestbook twice becuase I didn't look to check where it said we were from. Sorry, we obviously live in Texas. Feel free to delete the other one. I didn't know how to do that.

Adrienne,
I am so happy they removed the cancer and you are going to be okay. What a huge relief! I know you serve so much and the Lord definitely has blessed you.
I saw your dad at church Sunday. He really was so skinny and looked so different from last time I saw him. He was sweet though and came and gave us all hugs. I know that he misses you guys and I am sure he would love to be close to you now. I think Seiko needs you guys too.
Take care,
Love
