So, yeah I am finally home! Boy, Hospitals are soooooooooo boring and noisy. I was hoping to catch up on my beauty sleep...but no luck there. I did get 4 hours in, and from then on the nurse was in every 30 minutes to check on me...He was a great nurse. So thanks to Jes for all your wonderful care!!!!!!! Anyways things are good...but they did take out all the thyroid. We are still waiting on results, but I feel good about it.
The weirdest thing is looking at my neck and seeing a huge scar...reminds me of Frankenstein or something. But oh well, at least Steve still thinks I am cute!
And despite what Sharon said...I wasn't that loopy! Just because I sang a song and danced a little... while hooked up to oxygen and iv's and all the other tubes. Anyways things are good
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and concerns..you are awesome! And I love having such wonderful friends and family. We are truly blessed. And the biggest suprise of all is my Mom came to take care of me...thanks Sher for sending her...I really needed her help. I guess I am not as strong as I thought I was.

I'm so glad that everything went okay with the surgery. It must of felt great having your mom there to help you.
It's good to hear you are doing all right. I think you are plenty strong - maybe even as strong as you think you are. You just underestimated how much surgery can do to your body!

I am soooo glad to hear that everything went well. Keep us posted on the biopsy. Moms are great things aren't they?

Ade,
I am so happy to hear you are home and doing well. I am especially glad Seiko is there for you! I know she is a huge help and with you being a fertile mertile with four kids I am sure you NEED help! I think scars are cool actually. Will you post a pic of your scar? Ok I understand if you don't. How long is recovery?
I know that you are strong and will heal up just fine but we will keep praying for you and your children.
Take care, get rest, and tell your mom HI!!
Be sure you take it easy. Its better to go slow at first or you will regret it later...trust me, I tried to be super woman after Erika c-section and I regretted it later. You are awesome and just hang in there.
Love,
Sharon
