Going under the knife

So I found out this past month after many scans, ultrasounds and a biopsy that my thyroid is overactive and needs to come out. The biopsy came back inconclusive but a good chance of cancer...so they are taking it all out!

It's amazing to me when I told my husband this information how calm he was and how we reflected back on the priesthood blessing he had given me that told me I would be fine if I listened to what the medical professionals told me. He is a pillar of strength and he is my hero!

I am a little nervous...but I have faith all will go well. And I know that this is just another trial my family needs to have in order to grow more. Plus I have to be better to go on Pioneer Trek this Summer and Young Women's Camp...I can't wait to be at Martin's Cove and Mia Shalom again!
