Goodbye Becky

So last night I found out my good friend, and second mom Becky Gropp passed away yesterday. I was sad at the news, but also happy that she could finally have peace and feel no more pain. My love and hugs go out to Chris, Lynnae, Kyle, Mindi, Jim, and Cory and all their spouses and kids. I love you guys, and I love your mom.

I will be forever grateful to Lynnae for introducing me to your family, and your wonderful mom. Becky was always giving of herself whether it be at church, or teaching at school, or to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed, but I am happy that I have the knowledge that I will be able to see her again.

Gropp Family, our prayers are for you at this time. We love you, and wish we could come down to be with you, but we cannot at this time. Know that we are thinking of you, and may the Lord be with you and comfort you at this time. But I know that my mom and dad will give you guys great big hugs from us.

Last night as Steve and I found out the news, we were talking about Becky. The one thing he pointed out, and I will be grateful for, is that I was able to see her last month. I was able to spend a little time laughing and talking with her. And I was able to get that last hug from her. I am grateful that Steve and I decided to make that last minute trip to Texas.

So, I know I will see Becky again...so goodbye Becky, or see you later for now. And I can't wait to see you again and get one of those great big hugs. I love you.
