OK, so I know that I am definitely not old enough to have a cub scout. Steve's parents bought Byron for his b-day a whole uniform...socks and all for cub scouts. Now seeing him in it made me cry and realize he was not a little boy anymore. If I cry over this, what am I going to do at his baptism???
Steve took Byron and his friends yesterday after school (Byron, Logan, Spencer, and Bryn) to the Nicklecade. Then the rest of the family met them at Carl's Jr. Can I just say crazy?!?!? I am so glad I didn't decide to do a party at my house with all those nutty boys...boy I am glad to have Emily who keeps pretty calm with all of her friends when they are over...otherwise I would go insane. But anyways after the boys party, we had family and close friends over for ice cream cake. So thanks to all who came and for the awesome gifts, Byron loved all of them. He said it was his best birthday ever!!! And then this morning he said, "Mom I think I look older, what do you think?" And before I could answer, he said, "I know I do because I feel older!" How do I stop him from growing up so fast?
