Halloween was a great day. It was fun getting up early to get Byron and Emily ready with their costumes for school. Boy I love easy costumes. Emily was a BYU cheerleader (which I sewed adjustments to make it fit her (it was way too small before) and this was my first time sewing something like this...I was very proud at how it turned out). And Byron was a 70's guy...I loved his Afro...even if he thought it itched too much. Benjamin was Superman...he was awesome. And Tyson was the cutest little BYU Football player, he loved getting black paint under his eyes.
One short story of our trick or treating experience. After about 3 houses Ben came up and said, "OK mom are we done, let's go home." I smiled and said, "No Benny we just started. We still have a lot of houses to go to." He smiled really big, yelled "YES!!!" And took off running down the street to the next house, yelling at the top of his lungs, "I like Trick or Treating!!" over and over again. And then at every house he would go up there and pick out a couple of things he thought he wanted or he thought Tyson would like and said nice and loud to them, "Thank you for your yummy candy." And would frown when he got a pencil or something else...but still would say Thank you. He is so funny.

Good job on Emily's costume! SO CUTE. Sounds like Ben got as into it as I did. Is there anything better than free candy from your neighbors?
