Biggest Loser

OK, so first of all thanks for all your concerns and prayers for my dad and family. He is home now, they found out he has a valve that is causing all the mini strokes. But if it is left alone, it could cause a major stroke, so they are running more tests tomm. I will keep you guys updated. So Dad I am glad you are home and doing better!!!
Now on to the Biggest Loser. This year Steve and the gang from last year are doing the Biggest Loser contest (not me this time, but just wait until this fall!!!). Steve lost 12 lbs last week!!! Yippee for him, on to win the big bucks!!!!!!

But on to my real topic. We are now as an entire family addicted to the Biggest Loser. Even our kids watch it with us and talk about the show. The positive to it, is that it is teaching our kids the importance of staying healthy by exercising and eating right. It is great to find a show we can watch together and have a good discussion about it. And tonight while watching we saw an awesome picture...Filipe and his wife in front of a picture of the Salt Lake Temple. Now I loved this guy before, but now he and his cousin are my favorites!!! So go FILIPE & SIONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sad part of this show is anytime they share a sappy story I cry like a little baby, which Steve laughs hysterically at. So last week I was crying like a baby because Jerry and his wife were split up because of elimination. And then I turned to see Byron and Emily crying harder than me...I started laughing, and Steve just rolled his eyes, while Benny ran around laughing at us because his dad was. I love having kids who are just as emotional as me. So tonight again they cried when Jerry got kicked off...we are a goofy family. But I have to give props to Tara for giving up her phone call to Filipe to talk with his family, what a good person she is (and of course this made me bawl also).

And yes for all of those who were wondering, we did record American Idol at the same time, so that we can go back another day and watch the tryouts (which is our favorite part of the show). So for those who haven't watched the Biggest Loser...I suggest you do if you want a motivation to make sure that you always stay in shape, and eat right, so that you will live a long happy life!!!

I noticed how Filipe doesn't swear or yell or anything, then I also noticed the SLC temple :) I paused the tv to show Isaac! So I am cheering for him too. I like how nice and even-keeled he is....and how HAPPY he is!

Good luck to you hubby in the Biggest Loser again this year! Win it again!!

I should do it from here, but he part of your group, in the Fall. I don't have anyone here to do it with and I need the motivation!
