A successful trip

So yesterday I had to go shopping...no milk, no eggs, no bread. So I decided to venture out early with all 4 kids(no school) and go to WalMart. Now I hate our local WalMart it is always so crowded...but I was in luck and it wasn't too bad. And the kids did great. It was a miracle, they didn't play tag in the store, they didn't try to touch and break everything they saw, they didn't beg and plead over and over again for things they don't need. It was a successful trip and I just have to say I am grateful for having good kids who listen and know when to have fun. By the way when we got home it was a mad house with kids screaming, yelling, arguing, and running everywhere...so much for peace and quiet.

And as a side note....why is Provo so much colder than the rest of the Valley...last night was 4 degrees, and our high hasn't gotten above 30 very often in the last few weeks....oh I wish it was spring and summer again!!! I need to take one of those imaginary vacations that my friend Mindi was talking about!! And another down side of it, is it is too cold for the kids to go outside and play, so you can imagine how much energy they have, with such a little amount of space to get rid of it.
