B-ball, Sleeping & Suprises

So Byron played his first Jr Jazz Basketball game the other night and did awesome, he stole the ball several times, intercepted some passes, blocked some shots and even scored 4 points. So we are proud of him, and I think he has found a sport that keeps his attention the whole time...maybe this will be the one that sticks with him...at least he practices nonstop everyday. (In the pictures up top he is the one with the white jersey and the green shirt...sorry they are so dark, for some reason my camera takes dark pictures when on sports mode.)

A funny story about Tyson, so poor little guy has a cold and has been grumpy the past few days. So today around lunch time he started getting fussy so I fed him a peanut butter sandwich and continued to wash the dishes. He cried for a while and then he began to eat it. It was so funny watching him (dumb me forgot to take pictures) because he would take a bite close his eyes, start chewing, fall asleep and then frantically start chewing again. Then he would open his eyes and repeat the same routine, it was cracking me up. So after he was done he looked at me with his sleepy eyes and said "Done." So I cleaned him up and put him to bed...where he just grinned at me and snuggled his blankies. He is such a funny boy, and he is talking like crazy, it cracks me up to hear him repeat everything everyone says.
And on a final note. Steve had his party Monday, we ate at Tucanos, took cake to his seminary class, had cake and ice cream with family and friends and he opened great presents. I have never been able to surprise him, but he has been asking for a 20in chainsaw for a year now...I know this is the hick side of him that I love!! So it came in a big box and I wrapped it, all day he couldn't figure out what was in it. So he waited to open it last. And then the best face ever...he looked at me and back in the box, pulled out the bar to the chainsaw and had the cutest littlest boyish grin (just like a little kid when they get their most favorite present ever). It was awesome to see him open it and get excited. So the next 30 minutes or so of the party was spent with him and the other guys putting his chainsaw together, tightening the chain, and planning what to cut. It was the best present I could have ever got him!
