Basketball & Programs

So we have been crazy busy between the kids school events, Dr appointments, church and basketball. In the past 2 weeks we have visited the Dr or the emergency room 4 times, we have attended 4 b-ball games, church events (draper temple open house and dedication), church meetings, and school events. So now I have time to catch up on some of it. Here is our updates, pictures and video of a few events...

  • Emily's stitches are out and she is doing great, and her scar is healing nicely (picture is before she got them out).
  • Byron has scored in all of his games, and this last game on Saturday he had 12 points and over 12 assists. One of the baskets was on a ten foot goal (They usually shoot on an 8 foot goal, with the 10 foot behind it...his coach said it was worth 4 points (which would be 14 points!!!))

  • Byron had a patriotic program with his second grade class. (sorry it is long)

  • We all attended the Draper Temple Open House with a lot of people from our ward...it was amazing, and Emily wants a chandelier like the one in the celestial room, in her room...
  • Yesterday Byron, Steve and I attended the Dedication of the Draper Temple.
  • Steve has been crazy busy with meetings, meetings, work, work, and more meetings!!
  • Tyson has had several big goose eggs on his head from playing and wrestling Ben...who has been spending many hours learning about time outs.
  • Tyson has learned to run super fast, according to the kids.
  • Benny is finally letting me teach him things to be prepared for school, and he has learned to dribble with both hands.
  • I have been busy with being sick from a nasty cold, weeding out our flower garden, cleaning our yard, organizing the house, and the baby has been kicking the last few weeks.
  • And most of all our family has been having fun going to the park and playing outside...that is until today when the weather went cold again.
So that is our past few weeks in a nut shell. Hope life slows down just a little so I can catch my breath.

Thanks for the comments on my blog, Adrienne.
Sounds like you are one busy momma (and family)! It seems like this time of year is always a busy season for everyone. Hope your little girl is feeling better.

My favorite part of your post:

Emily wants a chandelier like the one in the celestial room, in her room...
