Stupid Daylight Savings

I hate to change to Daylight Savings time. The evil genius who convinced everyone this was a smart thing to do, obviously didn't have little kids. I hate the way it throws off the kids schedules and makes for grumpy kids, who won't go to bed at their normal bedtime because it is still early for them, or who won't wake up in the morning because it is not time. And I am tired of being tired because I don't get enough sleep, and have to have grumpy kids all day. Just when we all get used to the time change, it changes again....why can't they just leave the time alone!!! Then my life would be a lot easier.

On a happy note, I built Tyson's toddler bed yesterday by myself...I was very proud of myself because I usually make Steve do all those kind of things. So last night Steve was determined to get him to sleep there...and guess where Tyson was this morning, snuggling in Steve's arms (who claims he doesn't know how he got there), and I woke up tired from being kicked in the face all night...the joys of switching beds. But he sure is cute in his little bed, I will have to take pictures to post later! :)

Daylight Savings has been hard on all of us here too. We usually get up around 7, drive Abi to the bus stop at 8:20. The last THREE mornings, we wake up at 8:15 or so and end up driving Abi to school! It really is crazy and my kids are so tired, too!

Congrats on the toddler bed! That is very cool. Glad Steve had such a nice birthday, too. You're a good lady!!

I agree on the whole day light savings thing. Not fun! I am still trying to recover!

We just put Maddie in a toddler bed, the night time has been fine, but nap time is so hard, she just wants to play with toys. I have resorted to laying on the floor in her room until she falls asleep. Errggg! Good luck :)
