So I feel so lucky to be able to live in Utah the past 12 years. When I was a freshman I was able to meet at least 5 of the quorum of the 12 and was able to hear all of them speak, including the prophet. Since that time I have met Elder Ballard and heard in person the prophet and his couselors speak many times. I have been able to attend the Conference Center to hear the general YW Broadcast twice, and been to General Conference twice. And each time I have felt blessed because of it. Steve and I were also blessed to attend President Hinckley's viewing (even if we had to wait 4 hours) and be up close to the Prophet of God. The spirit was so strong, there is no way anyone could deny he was a prophet of God. What an expereince that was!!
But the last 6 weeks I have truly been blessed living in Utah. Last month I was able to meet the General YW Presidency and receive hugs from Sister Dalton...who that weekend was called as the YW General President. What a happy, amazing woman she is. And back in January I was able to meet and get hugs from Sister Beutler of the general board who asked if I was old enough to be a leader...she was so cute!!
And then last night I had a regional training up in Orem. We were suppose to have the board members there, but to our surprise we had Sister Dibbs (the new 2nd 
counselor in the General YW Presidency). And not only is she a general authority, but she is President Monson's daughter! I got to comment on some of her questions, and say the closing prayer. And afterwards I got a hug from her. When my counselor and I were getting ready to leave, she came up to talk with me and a few others. She shared different stories about her dad and what a good man he was and still is. She shared stories of his sense of humor and his compassion to be a fisher of men. And the whole time she kept putting her arm around me and giving me hugs. She is an amazing woman, who is so down to earth, and funny just like her father. She has such a great love for the church, its leaders, and the young women. I love being here in Utah and being in my calling! So last night I not only got to meet the 2nd couselor of the General YW Presidency...but the Prophets Daughter!!! I am on such a spiritual high on what she taught us and being in her presence! If this is how I feel meeting a general authority...can you imagine what it would be like to meet the prophet...or to make it back home to our Heavenly Father!!! I love this gospel! I love being able to serve in a calling where I can receive revelation for the young women I serve! My counselor Janeen and I decided last night that when we chose Jesus's plan that we were not only joyful...but we were so busy cheering that we said yes we will do anything for you even if it meant we had to have many challenges. And Sister Dibb's said she was the same way...but knows that the challenges will only help her become stronger. I truly believe that. Like I have said before I am grateful to challenges I have had in my life, they have become blessings in my life. Oh how I love serving as the Stake YW President so that I can meet general authorities, who are wonderful people who love the Lord just like I do. What a blessing this has been in my life!!

Sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like only in Utah can you meet these general authorities, I guess living in Gatesville Texas I never had opportunities like this. But yes anywhere we can meet the general authorities. And they General YW Pres. & Board are actually going to do these trainings all over the world soon...we were the guinea pigs for it.
Oh no...I didn't mean it like that at all....AND I love UTAH!!! I am excited for you. Often, my voice doesn't convey electronically. Sorry. Luv ya'!
