So at the kid's school in kindergarten they do what is called Mom's & Muffins. So today I went to Emily's class to eat a chocolate chip muffin and read books with her. To my suprise she had made me an award! I love having a little girl in my family. I think if I had all boys I would go nuts not having someone to talk with, paint nails with, play with her hair, pick out clothes, watch movies, and most of all shop with! Emily is truly a princess and gets more beautiful everyday. I hope she knows how much Steve and I love her and look up to her. She is such a great sister to her brothers and truly exemplifies what it means to be a Daughter of God. She is always serving others, and saying nice things about them. For example, yesterday Steve and I were discussing how to pay the medical bills, she overheard us went up to her room and brought down all the money she could find...and said here mom, I hope this can help pay for the bills and give you some extra money. All I could do was cry. She is such a charitable little girl. I gave her a hug and a kiss and told her to put her money back and save it for herself, but that she was the best daughter in the world for sharing her money with me. She is my angel and I love her. I am so glad that I was able to spend that extra time with her today and eat chocolate chip muffins (even if both of us spilled crumbs all over ourselves, and walked away with chocolate stains...like mother like daughter). I will always love having her as my little girl...even if she isn't so little anymore!
