Today I am 30!!!

Well it is official...I am 30! But as I look back on the past years I have truly been blessed. I had the opportunity to grow up in a wonderful family who went to church and taught me the basic principles of the gospel! I was able to develop wonderful friendships...most of which I still have today (thanks to all of you for being such great friends throughout the years). I was able to attain a College Degree from my dream university BYU (ever since I was 5 I wanted to go there). I married the most wonderful man in the world for time and all eternity. I have had 4 beautiful, wonderful children. And I have been able to serve in so many wonderful positions in the church that have helped me to grow physically and spiritually! I have truly been blessed these last 30 years. It's amazing to look back on the past years and realize how the Lord truly had a hand in all of it. He has always blessed me with healthy babies, a roof over our heads, and a loving family and friends. I am amazed and humbled and grateful to Him for all that I have. And I know that it will continue in my life. What miracles have happened in my life...and all of you have had a little part in the miracles in my life. So I thank you for blessing my life with your friendships.

My weekend has been wonderful. Saturday I helped our young men in our ward with their yard sale/bake sale/hot dog extravaganza and they made almost $1500...yea for the Scouts!! Then that night Steve threw a party for me in our backyard! It was a blast to have so many people come...even if we turned into ice cubes because it was so cold. I received lots of lotions, and body sprays ....boy I will be smelling good for a year! Then yesterday for Mother's Day the kids made me breakfast in bed, snuggled with me, made me cards and flowers at church, and gave me wonderful gifts. I got an umbrella stroller for Tyson, 2 pairs of workout pants and a Keyless Starter for my van(also my birthday gift)! And for my birthday I also received a new pair of running shoes! I love my gifts and especially the sweet cards from my kids.

And to top off the weekend the Spurs won to tie the series!!! GO SPURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful mother's day gift! OK and the Jazz won also.

So thanks to all my friends and family for making this a wonderful weekend for me. You guys are awesome!!!!
