OK, so these last 2 posts have been about my frustrations, so soon I will write some of my joys and blessings. But to the topic at hand. Last night I heard on the news that all the Mervyns stores were closing for good. Now this makes me terribly frustrated because this is where I get the greatest deals on my kids clothes, and on my clothes. So now I will have to find a new place to go school shopping, or skirt shopping for me. I know there is always target and walmart, but I just love the style of clothes at Mervyns. I love their After Thanksgiving sales (when last year Jeanette and I nearly got trampled trying to buy toys for the kids...boy Jeanette is a trooper!!), and how they gave competition to all the other stores on prices. I always knew I could count on a good sale to find baby clothes, or when I needed new church clothes. I know this sounds selfish and vain...but oh well, sometimes you just have to vent. So this is me venting, but on the upside I can't wait for their liquidation sales...maybe I can have one last run at the good sales they have.

You're kidding! I've been going to Mervyn's since I was a kid. I get a lot of shoes there:)
You'll have to tell me where to get skirts there; I have been looking all over for new Sunday stuff
I thought all the Mervyns were closed! They must have closed Texas first...like 6 yrs ago! kendra
