So I truly believe I have the best husband on Earth. Yesterday he came home from work, told me to go to the Temple, and he would take care of the kids and dinner. So off I went, and I had a wonderful, very spiritual experience. When I got home the house was clean, laundry was going, dishes were all washed, and dinner was on the table with the kids getting ready to eat. Then later that night he was watching the Jazz Mavericks game (a very intense game if anyone watched it) and Ben decided he wanted to learn to go potty (Finally!!!). So Steve ran back and forth between the bathroom helping Ben and watching the intense game. Allowing me time to be able to work on bills and my calling. And yes, if you were wondering Benny did go in the potty twice, so we are going to keep working on him!
What a wonderful man I married! He always allows me time to do things for myself; he never complains about all the endless meetings I have for my calling; and he is always complementing me so that I feel like I am the most beautiful girl in the world (even after I had the ugly Frankenstein Scar). And the funniest thing about him is he gets so excited when the kids reach a milestone...for instance Tyson starting to crawl (Yes he is mobile...scary), or Benny going potty, or Emily learning to write a sentence, or Byron being able to shoot on a ten foot goal with a basketball.
I just had to write a little something about him to thank him for all that he does for me and the kids, and for the youth in our ward and stake! It never fails that every week some youth stops by to talk with him, or hang out with him. He is a great example to all of us!
So if I had an award to give him it would be The Best Husband in the World Award!

How sweet of Steve to do all that without any strings attached! ;)
Ahhhh a clean house, a session by yourself, happy kids, and food on the table with no effort of your own. What ELSE could a mom want? He totally has your love language down. Ever heard of that book?

Way to go Steve! You just keep it up so all the other hubbies can see how it's done. All their wives will appreciate you!
Hello! It is so great to see how big your kids are, I can't believe it and we didn't even know about Tyson. Your kids are so cute. I remember when we first moved to Pioneer 2nd ward and Byron was about 1. We thought we was the cutest little boy ever.
It made Bret laugh to think about Uncle Chuck.
Hey Girl,
I keep meaning to drop you a note and just hadn't yet...so here it is. I think you and Steve are AMAZING! Congrats on your weight loss contest, too. I loved catching up on your blog today and all that you've been up to. I also think your layout is SO cute! I'm going to hold you to that one mile by the end of summer deal...okay? *smile*
Thanks for all of YOUR kind words and encouragement. It certainly makes this whole "fitness" thing easier when you know you have support! I think it is so great that we can all encourage each other in this blog network. Keep up the great work! You have a beautiful family and marriage...and I know you'll reach your fitness goals, too!
